That's right, kiddos.... my new off day is Friday now...... I am glad to be off today, having just worked 55 hours in the last week. I am relishing my new promotion..... I have more work than I can handle but I have thrown myself into it and have made good progress in solving some of the problems that my managers wanted me to clean up from the person who was demoted from the position I took over....

So, what's on tap for today?

Errands...... hopefully some blogging and a NAP. WOOT!

I would like to maybe take the camera with me today while I am out and about and capture some of this beautiful Fall color as I think it is just about peaking right now....

Hi there.... I dont have much time to be around the Stream.... or even to check out all my fave geeky weather sites that I haunt, but I wanted to check in.....

Things have been tough here, there were massive lay offs and firings at my workplace but I escaped with big promotion! .... and lots more headaches and stress on myself with no pay raise...but management likes me alot, and they have let me "bat with bases loaded"..... I am, and will do great with this opportunity! I feel bad though for folks I am close to up there, who have been let go or had their hours slashed......

My cold is almost gone..... I feek ok except that I am looping down around one of my bad depression spells..... I will be ok... I am just cycling, but it's hard........ Fall is in the air and it makes me feel creative......... I am at my most creative while in the worst spiritual pain, and to be creative is to be alive for me...... I will work it out with the help of the Psalms....as always.....

Anyway, I miss so many of you and I hope you are all well...

'Morning!

I was looking at Vals blog this morning and saw the post where she listed all the great music acts she had seen in concert...... I thought I would take the baton from her and run with it by attempting to list the bands I have seen live..... I rarely go to concerts anymore but I used to really enjoy the concert experience...... long lines, pricey beer, screaming, headbanging, riots in the men's room. WOOT!

The first concert I ever saw was Johnny Cash with my parents in 1979..... the first concert I ever saw sans parents was the Police in 1981........ I have seen so many great shows over the years but I find myself less interested in going these days cuz I'm old and cranky and the DVD concert experience suits me nicely.... so I will try to remember everyone I have seen but I will prolly forget one or two!
