Life After The Hollow

 "Appalachan Moon" - reissue

This is the first poem I ever wrote and probably my favorite, so I like to reissue it from time to time... This has been put to music and it's one of my favorite songs that I have done as well.... It has a real ethereal quality to it and ranks among the prettiest music I have ever composed.... Secret is the only person who has heard me play and sing it. I will share it here when I can get it transfered from the 16 track.

.

"The Appalachian Moon"

I remember the first time I saw you.
You Shined.

We became as one on those warm summer nights
and I pulled down the stars for you.

I loved to lay with you in the meadows
under the Appalachian Moon.

We went hand in hand together
as the years went by we weathered
the storms.

and in the calm we stopped to remember
our Appalachian moon.

You were my light
and still would shine
an eclipse that came too soon.

I wake to reach you
But you are gone.
I struggle to the meadow, the stars out of reach
and weep with the Appalachian moon.

"A Thousand Miles Away" - Reissue.

I'm wrestling with too much tonight to offer anything new, but I always liked this little lyric that spun out of my head and heart in short order a couple of months ago, so I will share again.

.

"A Thousand Miles Away"

.

Sometimes all you can do is hold someone
When there's nothing left to say
No more right or wrong
When all is gone
All you can do is hold someone

A foot apart from you
is a thousand miles away
When your heart's taken all it can
All you can do is hold someone

A heart broken, held to your's
can say so much more
Than all the words that have already been spoken

Sometimes all you can do is hold someone
When there's nothing left to say
No more right or wrong
When all is seemingly gone
All you can do is hold someone
and tell them...

"I still love you."

I wrote this little song today in my head... I don't have to play it on my piano to know each note and chord, because I hear it in my head so well...

I hope it puts forth the emotions I feel..

 Fratzin Fratzin Music sites!

Ok. After not being a part of the Blog Crawl extravaganza for the last few weeks, I decided to post a song tonight! WOOT?

No woot.

Song2play is down and when I went to IEEM and tried to look up a song I kept getting a run app error.

So, no music from me tonight.

BUT!

In a never ending search to find nifty ways to isolate myself and be all anti-social in real life, I have discovered the ONLINE CROSSWORD PUZZLE!!

AWESOME!!

So, I am gonna work on that tonight and I will check in on some blogs for a music boogie break from time to time.

 Happy Saturday!

Yo!

Streamers!

Have a happy Saturday, already!

We are expecting some severe storms today..... I may be activating the Randy Storm Team Super Double Secret Probation Radar Looper Duper "Run For Your Lives!" Triple Accurate Weather Coverage today. Southern Streamers be ready to grab your trout bras and HAZMAT speedos when given notice. Some of the weirder Southern Streamers may already be wearing that stuff anyway. *shrug* *adjusts trout bra*

Ok. I am off to watch 7 year olds play softball!

It's as confusing to watch as seeing Don Imus debating a manatee!

What?

Well, I'm just saying, of course!

Happy Saturday!
