Ok. It's time to come clean with an issue that has been in my life now for a week..... some of you know that I am walking around life right now with a slightly fractured right hand... Yep, I did it to myself. First time I have ever done that to my hand... I was having one of those "I'm a big baby when I can't snap my fingers and have everything in the world be the way I want it", world famous Randy tantrums and I unwisely vented my spleen and gall by punching the outside of a house...VERY BAD IDEA!!! I KNEW the second I did it, I had committed a major BOO-BOO. It kind of just went "crunch". So, it swelled up really bad and it was VERY painful for a few days as I was trying to decide in a very "I am in denial!" manner to go get an X-Ray and all that. I have this theory... if you pretend you didn't break your hand, then the hand's not really broken is it? All that pain and swelling and bruising was just reality balderdash! The swelling finally let up, but the bruising really began to set in a couple days ago.... it starts at the pinky finger, runs through the hand, and across my wrist and up my arm just a bit. It's stiff and painful at times but I am starting to think I may have pulled a real coup by not going to the doctor and running up a bunch of medical bills.... It feels a bit better today although it's still stiff.

The main thing scaring me is my piano playing. It's very ouchy to try to do a full scale which I will sit and gingerly try about once or twice a day to see if the miraculous cure has come over it... it hasn't, but time is on my side and with there being less pain, I am more optimistic today about an eventual return to my music...

So, that's the scoop on my hand and I am highly anticipating my Mom popping on and telling me what a knucklehead I was to do something so juvenile and reckless with my hands... which are one of my few assets as a human being...

Good thing I type in the "hunt and peck" style!

I miss the simple ways of days gone by

There has always been alot of controversy over my silly cyber name.... and I wanted to reissue this little slice of cyber life from last July...

BUT this may be a shock to those who know me but I don't visit THAT many sites! *ducks flying tomato*

I won't divulge what Randy420 means to me because the Bolivian Government is after me, well them and the Mexican Mafia! *wink*

Anyhoos....

The whole 420 thing is that April 20th is national pot smoking day or something and if you smoke weed then you should always spark a doob at 4:30 in the afternoon in honor of being high or in honor of the earth's fun fun bounty or something. I dunno. Google it.

4/20 is also Hitler's birthday.

I was trying to upload some pics of a mill that I photographed yesterday, but they wouldn't load here for some reason.... The Blogstream robot operated message thingy was telling was telling me the files were too big... so, here's just the two that would...

Oh, it is a working mill, btw.... I went and knocked on the door cuz the owner lives inside but he didn't answer... I heard that if can catch him, he's friendly and will give you a little tour of the inside if ya don't look too creepy. (so, I would have been out of luck anyway!)

So... I actually got out and took some photos again today.... Man, it was SUNNY and a nice crisp 45 degrees so it was lovely and I filled up a whole memory card on the camera.... it was great to be out doing what I love and it was nice to relax and enjoy myself for awhile... I took so many photos that I am happy with, that this is just a small collection from today's 3 hour shoot.... this is all around our town, including a local graveyard where I enjoyed shooting the confederate soldier section... it was cool! .... since I am such an American Civil War buff!

I hope Y'all like these images as much as I enjoyed capturing them...
