Hiya Streamers........ wow. I have been away for a few weeks but I see things are still bubbling along nicely here in Blogland. I have been doing well....... Still havent got my car back but frankly I have gotten used to not having the thing..... I walk everywhere.... to work...to the store....to the mall and bookstore... and I just walk for the sake of walking...... I live next to the highest point of elevation in the southern part of the county here..... called Coldwater Mountain...... and I found a good place to get up to near the top in a new development that's under construction....... the base is 2 miles into my usual walk so I have a good warm up...... the road up is EXTREMELY steep!..... it's a real test of endurance...... lungs gasping..... hamstrings on fire...... but the view from the top is a great reward for the effort..... a 180 degree show of sprawling mountains, hills, forest, and the town I live in directly below.......... breathtaking! My average walk right now is about 5 to 6 miles at a go...... I feel great.......... totally off all the meds now..... I am at the Hollow this weekend to watch LuLu play ball.... so I hope to catch up with many of you while I have some computer access......

So, not much to report after all these weeks away.... but maybe "no news is good news" applies here..... things are relatively drama free and I am in a sweet spot of fulfillment.... I dont have many possessions but I havent been this happy in years.... I try to do the right thing every day and if I do stumble, then I get a new chance every morning to resume driving at my newfound purpose and destiny.

Well, it's been another great weekend where I had some time to swim in the Stream..... I had fun! It was nice to catch up with many of you.....and I am so blessed by all the love and support from so many great friends here.... I wish I could be around more to return some love and support to you too. I have had a nice time getting to visit with Secret and with LuLu, who seems to be recovering nicely..... she and I really had some quality time together.... she really is a very special little girl. I am going home tomorrow, but have church and hopefully a long walk on the local trail in the morning so I dont know exactly how much I will be on the computer tomorrow......... so, I will leave yet another interactive post and I will see all of you soon!

Well, Streamers..... I'm off to work..... I'm enjoying visiting the Hollow but now I have an hour drive to work versus the lovely little 3 minute jaunt across four roaring lanes of traffic that I have gotten used to...... so I have to run.... but I thought I would leave you with this one little piece of advice which I found deep in the recess of my blog here..... it aint Dr. Phil quality but that doesnt make it any less true!

Hiya Streamers..... well, it's been another couple of weeks since I have been able to check in here...... and I hope everyone is doing well.

It's been an interesting last few weeks...... In the midst of my unrelenting financial struggles, my car died a few weeks ago and needs a new timing chain, which is going to cost 600+ dollars.... which I dont even come close to having right now, so I have moved to a new place directly across from where I work...... it's a nicer place than the last spot I was living at..... cleaner and larger with HBO and a king size bed and I can walk across the street to work in less than 3 minutes..... it's a situation that would normally have me in the deep depths of despair, but I am doing quite well, actually. I have decided to make self discipline my main focus in life right now...... keeping myself and my living space immaculate and investing my mind and spirit into all the positive resources that are available to me right now....... in addition to a new and in depth New Testament study I have embarked on, I am actually reading essays and sermons from American Puritan writers such as Johnathan Edwards and Increase Mather...... no nonsense, dogmatic and rather difficult to read...... I am no saint and no Puritan for sure, but I read them as an act of discipline......... and for me to take time to read things like that says alot about what I am trying to accomplish with myself now...... those that are close to me can easily sense the difference in my emotions and world outlook..... mostly positive in the face of maddening frustration with where my life is at now, and very even for a man who usually rides his emotions like an out of control roller coaster......... I am very lonely and am once again weening myself off my antidepressants, but keeping myself busy with things like these studies and by working hard at continuing to become stronger and more physically fit, has made all the difference for me.... to quote a preacher that I visit with at work quite often, I am...... "wonderfully blessed and highly favored"........... I'm doing well and I hold hope against hope that things will open up for me soon......... there is a good life out there for me..... it's just up to me capture the dream and make it mine....

I am trying hard to make myself be a man who is known for being all about love.... and am having success...... it's really a one day at a time kind of journey!

I am at Secret's today watching LuLu, who is recovering from strep throat.

Well kiddos..... I have really enjoyed getting to be on the Stream this weekend..... I have been in the Hollow this weekend at Secret's....... she picked me up and helped me run my errands on Friday since my car is broken down and I have been here washing clothes and helping out around the house..... we have had a nice time.....no big dramas .... just spending some casual time together.... which hasnt happened in some time..... she has been a big help to me through the trying times of the last couple of months and I thank her dearly for that...... and I thank all my Streamer friends for their love and support as well.....it's almost time for me to head back to my place and I dont know when I will be back on the Stream..... so I will leave something interactive and I will see you all again as soon as I can!
