Dudes and Dudettes!

Oh mercy.

I feel better.

My sickness is lifting. I'm EATING again for the first time in I don't know. I had a GREAT day at work, I gave these folks everything I had (professionally!) and I knocked their socks off. So, I got THAT covered. I got to leave for awhile to check out some houses and I heard the most beautiful rendition of "Oh, Holy Night" at the same time a rainbow broke out across the misty mountains to the east of town...... If I'm lyin', I'm dyin'!!!(It was almost too good to believe..) Heard from friends today that I hadn't heard from in some time. Talked to family....and basically stayed out of trouble all day.

Ok. A few more fires to put out and all will be looking better for the overtaxed and overstressed and over emotional Randy...

Everyone pray for my ceiling to hold together tonight and tomorrow.



Ok. It's a bit of a rollercoaster ride these days but I've been through stuff like this before and as long as I don't lose perspective, which is where communities like this can be so helpful, I always make it through.

Ever have one of those weeks where EVERYTHING goes wrong?

So, far this weeks disasters have included...

My job.....it ain't working out.
My health.... still sick.
My finances (see job)
My ceiling still leaks.
I'm lonely.
My prescriptions are all messed up cuz my pharmacy, doctor, and insurance company are too busy playing grab-ass to accomplish what I need and I am getting screwed.
I'm having panic attacks
....and it looks like I cant afford to go back to Texas to see my son and family for Christmas.

But in my pro column, I still have all my appendages and my brain (Er...?), and a flickering hope of a life filled with peace and happiness.(I dont have the slightest clue as to how that will work and that's called "faith", folks.)

Yes, I'm back for those of you who noticed I was missing. I've had the flu all week and have been flat ass on my back in bed for days. So, was it a drama free week? Um... yea. Was it a GREAT week? NOPE. But I think I have turned the corner and am rebounding well. I went to the doc a couple of days ago and told him my flu woes and he just shrugged and said that after I had had it for that long the best thing to do at that point would be to ride it out. So, I waited 2 hours to see the doc, was told that, and then paid 30 bucks on the way out. *shrug*

I DID drop another few pounds, putting me at a very nice looking 190 pounds, which my large frame carries nicely. My little roll on my tummy is vanishing more and more. I am gonna be HOT this summer! WOOT!

Secret has it much much worse with the flu than me so I have tried to be helpful and supportive to her...... even to the point of getting dragged out of a warm bed to go to Walmart at 4 AM this morning to help her fight gladiator style with wild eyed rednecks, most of them reeking of untreated morning breath and wild greasy hair, or still just silly drunk from the night before, over the sale items that went up for grabs at 5 AM sharp. I was armed with a shopping cart, a bad attitude and a sickly pallor so most of those idiots stayed clear of me!

We were in and out of there in less than an hour!

So.......... I am back in the office today, even though we are closed, to work off and on all weekend on the 4 foot high pile of work I have to get done by Monday so I can ask for a paycheck which my bosses neglected to leave me before they left town. Must be nice to be rich and not have to worry about silly little things like paychecks, aye?

Ok. So, I'm back.

Last week was a very WET and STRESSFUL week. LOTS of drama in my Randy life.
