Life After The Hollow

 Things To Consider!

Um.... I'm on a real "I got nuthin" streak here so let's continue with the rapid decline in content quality of this blog with the following things to consider...

1. If a man gets a "goiter", why doesn't a woman get a "goitee"??

2. Since sequels suck and make less money than the preceeding movies, why don't the studios just start with the last sequel first and go backwards making better movies each time and then folks can just sequence the dvds in whatever order they want since the flicks will just be a rehash of each plot over and over again, anyway?

3. If evolution is so great, why don't humans have eyes in the back of their head? (My Mom apparently being the exception there.)

4. Is the ant-eater the only sex toy that can cover 8 miles of jungle in a day and take care of those pesky South American Jungle Ants?

5. Who's stupid idea was it to put wheels on cars?

Thank You.

 It's Too Confusing!!!

Ok. Dammit!

I dont want to seem like a TOTAL FLAKE but it was too confusing trying to switch over to the new blog I started under the other name.

SO!

Instead of dumping this blog and this name, I am going to overhaul the whole danged thing and throw out tons of stuff, do some scrubbing up and stay with a new title.

I'm too damn lazy to start over!!!

so......

We are under reconstruction........

GOOD GRAVY!

 Dreary... Dreamy.. Lovely....

Yes, yesterday was a bit drab and yucky, but there was a moment in the afternoon after a tremendous thunderstorm where the sun finally struggled through in it's battle with the clouds to form a perfect rainbow to the east. It spanned across the mountain range behind the town and the sun lit up all the gorgeous Fall leaves on the ridges, swathed in whips of eerie mist.

It was divine!

I was standing in a Walmart parking lot checking it out, and saw several people capturing the scene with their camera phones.

So, perhaps there can always be a little sunshine in the dreariest, damp, yucky days...

 Dreary..... Dreamy...

Oh, it's one of those relentlessly dreary days of Fall where it is dark and gloomy and misty and rainy and cool. There seems no difference between the morning and the afternoon and the night to come brings only an even sadder, more melancholy dampness to one's spirit.

If I wasn't here at work, I would spend the whole day in bed, reading.....

I wish this town had those old fashioned gas streetlights to cast their glow through the fog...... like spectral spirits shining in a dream. Their watery yellow reflection on the cobblestone roads could serve as short lived golden brick roads across the square for those with the imagination and courage to follow them.

Until, alas, the sun takes dominion again tomorrow, and this whole damp and soggy dream world evaporates....
